Hiya just wanted to introduce myself, my names Andy and i own Remote Key Repairs Ltd. We specialise in repairing all makes and models of remote keys and when you think our average key repair is in the region of £40 and a maindealer will look to charge upwards of £400 then we are of course a much more cost effective option. I didnt come on here to sell my services and i am not placing a link to my web site etc so i really hope this listing can stay visable. We do sell keys to via ebay and Maserati keys come in occasionly and one is currently listed for sale. For other information please get in touch

Many thanks
Andy

*Really*? :)

Now I for one am more than happy to learn of your services, but you really need to talk to Conaero, the owner, about sponsorship, advertising etc.

Secondly, you probably want to reconsider your price on that key. A brand new one, which *will* fit your barrel (although will still need coding to the car) is £148 +VAT from Eurospares. So probably cheaper from a dealer. I bought one earlier in the year, but the invoice is at home.

Good luck!

I too may be interested depending on if you can replace existing fobs.
Mine have seen better daze and I am not too far from Pickering for a visit
Do have a word with Conaero though first
Good luck

I've had a fair few keys supplied & coded at main dealers for various brands and have never paid anywhere near £400 or upwards of that.

I'm a little confused by your post that you are not coming on here to sell your services....but you are. Did I miss something?

No

Main dealers have realised that if they want to sell keys they need to be competitive , my yeti only came with one key , it was £120 including the programming which was much less than I was quoted from a guy on eBay, plus it would have been a key that needed cutting to fit the lock where the Skoda one came from the factory pre cut

Even then there was a problem the new key would only open the drivers door then all the doors with a second press in anti hijack mode which I didn't want , if I'd bought a key and took it somewhere to be programmed I could see it turning into a key v programming problem.

Always supply and fit then if it doesn't work it's their problem
