Hi guys,
I am a new member from up in sunny Northumberland. I am looking to upgrade my Alfa 147GTa to a Masersti GT in the next month or so. I will be looking for a 07/08 in a dark colour preferably with with red or cream interior with service history and skyhook suspension. I have been looking at several via the Internet throughout the country. Does anyone have any advice on what to lookout for or where to look in particular or indeed know of anyone looking to sell such a vehicle? Thanks in anticipation and I would appreciate any help/advice.
Cheers guys
Dave H.

Welcome

I am not a million miles way from you in Sunderland. Can't help re a GT I have a 4200CC and only owned it for a couple of months but I am sure you will get plenty of help from other forum members - they are a helpful lot!
let me be the first to point you towards Richard Grace cars. I got mine from Dicky and he was very helpful and straight forward to deal with. If he doesn't have one in stock he can probably help source one, Nuvelo also seem to have a good reputation on theis forum although I have had no dealings.

Have fun looking and when you get one I doubt go will regret it

Hi Mark and thanks for the advice. I think a phone call on Monday seems to be the next step. The beauty is I am not in any great rush so I am happy to wait for the right one to come along. Having said that I am really looking forward to owning some that bit extra special.
Thanks again and will no doubt be back in touch regarding advice on servicing etc local to us.

Regards
Dave

I too can vouch for Dickie - bought mine from him - again a 4200. I too am in the North East. Look around, see what you like and put your wish list in, I waited a year (at least) for the car that I wanted and missed out on 1 to those blighters down South.
Good luck and enjoy the hunt!

Welcome to the fold Dave, I'm actually collecting a Nero/Rosso Corallo GT this week, lovely car which has been maintained by a Maserati enthusiast, only 33000 miles too. If you wish to give me a bell, you don't have to wait til Monday. Also, many thanks for the recommendations Mark & Dave, it's very much appreciated.

Cheers for the advice fellas,
I spoke with Richard this morning. What a smashing guy. Lots of help and advice. Things are moving forward, slowly but surely. Thanks again Richard, looking forward to possible purchase in the not too distant future. All being well, everything crossed.
