Hello all, what a fantastic forum, I am already addicted and that is just by reading this forum. I am extremely keen on purchasing a 4200 Coupe GT - 2003 with 131K - KM, 19K CHF - 13K GBP and I have a test drive tomorrow. This forum has certainly helped and guided me to what I should look out for. I need to do the list otherwise I will forget all the pointers in my excitement. I have seen the car and in my opinion it is in brilliant condition but so far only optic, so great start.
I would love to hear from fellow Mas lovers and experts what your thoughts are as a first time Mas buyer and if you feel I am making the right move. Looking forward to your comments :thumb1:

willkommen. These cars are highly connected to the heart. So i believe, our comments are useless, until you drive the car. So, my suggestion is, make the test drive, look on how you feel and get back with questions. Lovely interior btw. (check clutch wear !)

That's awesomely cheap for Switzerland - the advert says it's CHF 29'900 though... not CHF 18'900.

Hi dwerf, yip you are correct but I met with the seller and he upped the price on AutoScout as he was receiving to many fly by nights who were not really interested in the vechile but to try get a free ride, they tend to do that here. The price is average from what I can see from those advertised. Thanks for your comments.

No worries - if you can get it at that price, then go for it! Looks like a superb deal... There's nothing for sale near that price here in Geneva.

As others have said, do take a test drive so you can form your own opinion.

The sound. styling and rush these cars give you is truly intoxicating.

Also be aware you do need to budget for clutch wear with some models like the 4200.

Brilliant car.

Cheers Classico I am going to have a little piggy bank kept on the side for those issues when they arise, but I am sure it will be worth it as the intoxication will neutrilise that pain :)
