NEWBIE HELP NEEDED!

Hi all
New to maseratis and forums and posting. Took me two 45 min sessions searching how to post a new topic to start with ! Hoping this will work !!

Bought a 4200 cc (2003 but 2002 model I'm told) couple of months ago. It had an abs issue which i hoped might be a sensor. Got it fairly cheap (i think/thought!)

Put it in a garage to check over ( fairly well known one and they had serviced it last two times so thought best to continue ) and the abs unit was diagnosed as the prob not a sensor. Being an early car this was harder to find but did find 3 in total, one being scarily expensive! Anyway sourced a second hand one and it was fitted all fine. I then got a service done on the advice that not too much else was wrong with it. It was then noticed some of the studs on one wheel were overtightened. A new bearing was required. The same guy sent a second hand one who supplied the abs unit. . This was fitted but an issue came up that wouldn't clear so had to be removed. I then received 4 more second hand ones and they were plugged in (rather than fully fitted) but unfortunately same problem. To help me out I was then offered a new one he had acquired at some point in the past. This was sent but yet again no joy. My old one had been plugged in to check and I believe another side was swapped out to double check through all this testing.
Obviously trying to save some money has ended up costing £250 with all the chopping and changing and i still only have my original with dodgy threads! These bearings were the early black wire type. Im hoping someone knows where i can get a second hand one or is there something I'm missing here ? or the mechanic ? In searching an old thread i found someone mentioning maserati used blue cable sheaf had been used on a black wire one ! The car is still in the garage waiting for this to be sorted. Obviously I'm a bit tight with the money (!) and yes i know I've bought a maserati ! Anyway any help or advice on this is greatly appreciated...

Hi

Thanks for reply’s -
Don’t have a pic yet as I bought it and drove straight to garage . It was a dark grey one / black interior on piston heads couple of months ago 75 k miles with decent service advertised for £10900. The ad mentioned it was the guys deceased fathers car if that helps ..
