Cool backstory and a stunning motor.

Are you sure that you want to trade in your appreciating modern classics (one of which is a JDM hero) to a strad that might loose you money?

Not really.... I would love to keep the GTR but its not possible to keep both of my cars.. One has to go. The GTR was a restoration project that I could use for a UK driving trip and then move on without any cost to me. The trip didn't happen mainly due to the GTR insurance costs because I am not UK resident anymore. :(
I thought about bringing it over here to Gibraltar but the RHD is not ideal for me (nor the 35% import duty), TBH if i only get low ball offers i will test the market here for my GS and may then bring it over as a keeper.

That is a very difficult decision you have to make. R34 GTR is in my dream garage, I decided to buy one a few years ago and by the time my career picked up enough for me to be able to afford a grade 3-4 fresh import which were around 20k they had aapreciated to above what I could afford so I got my 4200 instead.

Whatever you decide to do good luck with the sale and 39k for a strad is a bargain... guess you would have to put another 35% on top to bring it home from Kuwait?

Love it! Spiderman interior and all. Only 490 2 seater stradales made. Get it bought!

How much is Stradale in Sterling .... 17000 kwd is it ?

About £40k. So, add shipping and paperwork costs of maybe £5k, and 20% Vat on the sale price, you'll be looking at maybe £55k or so by the time it's on your drive. Whereas for £60k you can buy a UK spec RHD 2 seat Strad without any of the risk or hassle. In other words, you've really got to want an LHD car with a red and blue interior to make this one a sensible UK purchase.

However, if I was about to relocate to Kuwait, I'd be on the phone already, credit card in hand.

want want want want want...
ok... skyline is up for sale already , sell that and the GS and i can do it....

Do you live in Kuwait?

I used to live there and I think this car has been up for sale for a couple of years as I was eyeing it but couldn't commit because of moving back to the UK.

There are actually quite a few of them in that colour combination over there and I told everyone here how cheap cars are over there :D

This is the other one that's up for sale that if I ever move back to Kuwait would have to get my hands on !

And then you own an imported, LHD car, in an interesting colour scheme, that you can't easily sell on should you want to.

No I live in Gibraltar... I prefer the other cars interior as it has less red.... what is it about Kuwait and red interiors ? loads of the Ferrari's over there have red leather.
