Conaero as you sure. The engine on mine is Red top. The oil level check is on the drivers side front left corner from some sort of resovoir. So from what I've been reading I thought it was dry and I have to drain the catch tank etc...
It is dry sump, the oil tank as you say is on the o/s front, worth taking both trays off as you will also need to drain the sump as you usually get about a litre out, hardest job is dislocating your wrist to change the oil filter
Don't forget the filter on all models should be torqued up to 30 Newton Metres.
The oil filter on the Dry sump QP is a pig even on a two post.
The wet sump filter on 4.2 and 4.7 is nice and easy.
