Interesting that the door airbag doesn't look to have deployed even though the door is now mostly in the car. That's Italian electronics for you!

It's a bargain now , they've had it up at £9.995 for 3 weeks , I think it's worth a lot less than that , it's not going to be just bolt some new doors on

Would the airbag deploy if the seat wasn't occupied

Tbh, I don't know but I hope so; I have a mate that was put in a coma by the pax side door frame coming across in a collision and hitting him on the head. Unfortunately, he will never fully recover.

Totally agree. A pretty major repair and good that the car is now captured on the forum to help protect any potential or future buyers.

I wonder, mods, if we should have a sticky thread with the reg numbers of all cars discussed? Although some don't show their regs of course.

Problem with it being 'captured' is that it's not easy to search.

Special steel in the B post that does not bend back to shape well on the QP...I remember Loz doing some research that indicated it is a non starter if the b post required jigging.

Unless you have something special like a low miles 3200GT or a last of the line Gransport all old modern Masers are all going to go this way...
Shame really, such lovely cars, but they aint worth a lot!

I was joking about them being bent in half

I disagree about modern maseratis ending up as worthless if that's what you mean, future classic is how I see them, I can't see them ever being £1995 at the back of a bomb site car lot

The Biturbo era cars did, just have to wait and see what the market decides.
