Oooh, that makes me wince! The Vantage front splitter has some badly positioned bolts which can pop through the carbon if it takes a hit underneath. That parking is far too close for comfort!
Yes, it made me wince. Isn't actually touching thankfully. I've already replaced it once.

Who likes these wheels? (And the 'trolley' sign is quite apposite IMHO.)

Period I believe. There was an equally putrid gold, blue, dark red and a green from memory.

Almost right there, the year before was metallic dark brown, the year after was the metallic Gold, you had to wait a few years for the red and green.

The bike is restored and just needs the tin work to complete it. My brother did a post office tax yesterday and they charged him £16 but accepted that it was a historic vehicle that didn’t need an MOT! Go figure. I guess he’ll get a refund from DVLA eventually. To be fair the logbook I sent him up was one of the pale blue single sheet ones, we did move here 30 years ago.
