Pistons and Props at Sywell

On an air show theme , I went to sounthport airshow yesterday, I haven't been to one since the late 80s , it was dull as ditchwater compared to what the Americans used to put on at mildenhall and lakenheath , apart from some VW powered chuggers flying under a banner I'd say most of the displays were at 500ft and a long way away
BBMF was Lancaster and a lone spitfire borrowed from somewhere, nothing was at full power until the typhoon arrived which was spectacular , sally B bought back some memories , its good to see it still flying
Everything in the 21st century is **** and getting ******* , give it 50 years and we'll all be passengers in 50mph electric cars and flying in rubber band powered aircraft , For environmental reasons airshows will be spectators sat down wearing VR goggles

Piston and Props is a great event but can get very busy round there. We would be going but we are away as it is the middle daughters birthday
