The pre face lift GTS is a rare sight and you do not see many come up for but at the moment there are a few for sale....They do tend to be a lot more expensive than the GT but I just love them......Would I have one over a Granturismo.....Yes..

My current fav and yes I'm sure the interior will not be to everyones taste.....

Your current fave is ok, steering wheel trim is horrid but i am not sold on a black QP.

Alfieri is much more attractive

and this just shouts out class.

What are 4.7 QP's selling for ... there can't be too much functional difference between one and a GranTurismo S?

Would be interesting to see which is holding its price better.

Had a peek at a few on sale and I must say that prices are pretty firm - paying £45k for a 3.5+ year old 4.2 QP does not strike me as great value. I'd hunt out a GranTurismo instead as they will probably have better residuals.

I absolutely love QPs and have intimated to MrsWoody that the QP is ideal, should we have a family.

I also said I'd stuggle to part with the GS so I thnk its a moot point - I wont be getting one any time soon! :)

Is there a 'cheat sheet' to what the difference is between GT, Sports GT, GTS, Executive and then the Auto, Duoselect etc?

Adam, thats not a GTS and has the horrid front grill in my eyes...The only new QP I like is the again the GTS which has the different front grill.....Yes the steering wheel is an aquired taste and at first did not like it but the more I look at that car the more I like...Not a black fan but on a GTS with out the chrome it just looks so mean........

Interesting but I would imagine that a 4.2 QP GTS handles better than a stock 4.2 GT...In fact the performance figures are tha same and for me the Coupe should be a quicker car.......I not so sure a GT will hold its value better than a QP GTS as a few dealers have 30k miles 4.2 GT's up for the same money or lower.....To me the QP is more pleasing on the eye overall...GT looks great at the front but runs out of style at the back....Again just my view....

This basically stayed the same until the full Auto came along ...Think it was 2007 or was it 2008....Away to begin with you had the same 3 three models for auto and duo select....Then in 2008 the GT S joined the range......

Auto a smooth change and smooth progress...Duo select more sporty and urgent...Depends what you like...Duo select is quicker slightly.....Press like the auto better but think I would go Duo select unless you want a GTS then its auto only....I always say dribe both to see what one you prefer....

Such a perfectly formed car Woody.....Looks great from every angle.....and prices start at 16k for a DS...What a lot of car for the moneyWhen Enzo was kind enough to take me for a spin it blew me away....Interest that the 4.2 QP performance figs are around the same as the 4.2 GT which you would think should be better being the latest model....
