Reluctor rings

Hi,
Hopefully someone might be able to give me some pointer, had the abs/asr on intermittently for ages now, just had a new abs pump and ecu fitted, all new brake lines but lights still on! :( I'm starting to think only thing I've not tried is the reluctor rings, how can I find out which one it might be? Obd2 won't trace abs system , is it likely to be fronts or back, any help appreciated.

Cheers

May have suggested this previously replace both reluctor rings on the rear. Google a company called reluctor rings pattern part were 80 quid a pair. You can't change the front but you can clean them well on the car. I would disconnect abs as in my own experience the few times the error light comes on it fryed the ecu

Hi, thanks for the advice, I think I'll get them changed and see if that works! !
When you say disconnect abs, do you mean while undertaking cleaning of front or unplug it permanently till works done?
Cheers

Rings All booked to be changed, be interesting to see what happens here, really the only thing left....... Does help that obd does trace any errors.
Fingers crossed

Question for all you people in the know on here, with the asr/abs lights on.
I replaced abs pump and ecu, new brake pads and disc and brakelines all round, new brake switch, new sensor one side, although should show on obd2 if sensor faulty, car booked in tomorrow for phonic rings and clean up for front ones ! If the abs lights are still on what happens next!! ;/
Is it a simple case of just accept and drive around forever with the lights on??
Although last time it eventually locked rear drives side out.
Is it unfixable?

Any advice much apreciated

light should go out once signal is received by sensors. If not may be the ECU on top of the pump.

Thanks for info, the garage is a well respected italian specialist ;/
The ecu and pump were replaced together. Am I right in saying a faulty sensor would show an error code on obd2?

Not sure if obd2 reader would id fault. Depends on the quality of the reader I think.
