Fair point. If a product’s end of life it’d be hard for a main dealer to sell it.

Silly buggers.

There is a 2006 Vantage for sale at one Aston dealer sat proud in amongst the new DBS and vantages. Sort of gives you confidence in the marque.

There was a prestige dealer near me , he had 2 DB9s in , both silver but 4-5 years between them , I can't remember the figures but there was a lot of money between them

I'd have had them well seperated because all I could see was the newer one was going to cost me ££££ in depreciation judging by what the older one was up for
TBH given the risks I'm surprised anybody retails old cars anymore especially ones where a door seal costs £1000

But in reality who is going to buy a door seal whether its a grand or a hundred pounds its hardly a part that is going to be in demand.

I bought one for a defender but water was hitting my feet when it rained, I could probably have got away with it though because being a defender it just ran out again.

My point was more dealers retailing cars where the potential for an expensive breakdown in the consumer rights/warranty period is fairly high so I'm surprised they still retail any 10 year old luxury car.

Maserati dealer told me they would not sell them as they could not warranty them to standards set by Maserati themselves. Whereas a Aston dealer does not have that issue with non-Astons.
Strange pricing is a Stratstone thing and will try and be cheaper and not budge. I think there is some weird code to it to do with their stocking policy but I mau have just made that up :)
