A warning to those people buying through the for sale section.

We have seen an instance where a member has indicated they wanted to buy something listed, and were then contacted by a different member than the one who listed the item, saying that the original poster was away or no longer on the site and to deal with them instead.

If you are buying from someone on the for sale section, only communicate with the user who listed the item. Do not accept messages from another member asking for payment or suggesting the use of an alternate email address. If you receive any messages to this end, click the report button or contact a Mod.

As is the case with most of the internet, buyer beware.
