Jay, I bought my first GS LE 2.5 years old with 18k miles on the clock for £30.5k

Drove it for 2 years and 20k miles, sold it for £28k

Just bought my second GS LE at 8 years old with 38k on the clock for £27.5k

You do the maths.

Jay,
One other point to make on the GS, try and get one with the Xenon Lights / Lamp Wash, they are a definite bonus..!! Mileage is not that critical on these V8's, if they have a good service record, they are a performance engine so need TLC..!! Get an independent inspection if you can, could save you a chunk of money in the long run..!!
Best of Luck in your search..!!

Interesting to get some real figures and surprising to see first how much of a hit the car took in the first two years and then subsequently how little the price has changed.

I am buying it to drive it (not into leaving a car in my garage for years) but it nice to know the car will hold its value when given the correct care and attention.

I am planning an independent inspection, worth it for the peace of mind, particularly on a car like this one. I have found several places around the country that do them, hopefully a car comes up near one of them, which would make things much more convenient.

We have a list of specialists on here covering most of the country, search bar top of page: independent maserati specialists, this will bring up the list..!! You should expect to pay around £200 - 300 for a good worthy inspection..!!

Hi Jay, Welcome to the forum

I'm based in Cannock and have a GS with 64k on the clock, it has been maintained meticulously so is supposedly a good example, more than happy to take you out in it if you want to get some more experience of the car

Migliore are very good, nice guys and reasonably priced. I personally use Gary at GT Autos who are based in Burntwood, he's superb and i'd now never take the car anywhere else

looking through my service records the car needed an awful lot of work (£11k, though that was at Meridian so would probably be half at an Indi) between 40 & 50k miles

Thanks for the offer, i would like that. Cannock is not too far from me - i am near Stourbridge.

Also useful to know someone else who is local and has experience with some specialists in the area.
