Soon to be newboy - MC Stradale

Hi All

Just bought my first Maserati !!, collect it in 2 weeks time (could have been earlier but I'm on holiday next week)

Not sure what came over me (I'm not known for being reckless/ caviller etc) got a call on Tuesday from someone I trust a lot, they gave me the details of a Px they have coming in and I agreed to buy it there and then. Not even seen the car, or photos of it or for that matter know the full spec, never even driven one.

I know they are stunning,heard great feedback from owners and it was a sensible price.

So excited (as is the wife for a change)

My track record is with 911's, currently run a RS4 as a daily.....the Maserati will be for weekends and high days.....plan to drive it huge amounts over the summer.....

A big warm welcome to the forum...What a car the 4 seater Stradle is...As you say the noise is bloody spin tickling good. When you know more about the car, pictures etc make you let us know.

We don't have anyone with a grey one on here...black one and white ones yes......Oh and a very yellow 2 seater.......

Do you know what colour grey it is.....Granito or Lava......Lava grey was the launch colour and was a very expensive option.....

I don't know for sure- but I would expect a Range Rover.

My RS4 is my second (the very kind people from Audi give me a cracking deal)
Just back from 4 days in the IOM, no speed limits and one way mountain road.
The trusty estate didn't embarrass it's self, amongst some very signifant exotica.

Can't wait for the Stradale to arrive

Is that a B8 RS4 you are in? They always seem to go harder than the stated power output would suggest. I believe they have stopped making them now with the B9 A4 due out soon so the only naturally aspirated Audi now being made is the V10 R8. Times move on!

I am already fed up of waiting (2 days done, 2 weeks to go)

I land from a bike tour on Sunday 14th, so there is a small chance I could collect on that Sunday, but probably going to have to be the weekend after

I have already planned a drive out with friends for early July (Lincolnshire), my wife says I'm counting my chickens prematurely and I will end up jinxing the deal.

I bought the stradale on the explicit condition it is a 4 seater (not seen it myself yet) it is however a October 2013 car, my understanding is all Stradale post summer 2013 are 4 seaters and the dealer principle confirmed it was.

The white lambo is an Aventadoor..... As nice as it was, it was somewhat overshadowed by the Porsche 918 that came along.

The thing that gets me...is the incredible positive support for Maseratis.....looking forward to getting intro mine.

They are but would imagine no more rare than the 2 seater now...Currently around 6 4 seaters for sale and most delivery miles. Looks like some dealer cars are hitting the market.....

Been told by the dealer principle ..the car is now not coming in...

The seller couldn't face having to swallow the deprecation..so chosen to keep it longer (about £15 a mile)
