SOS BMW price!!??

Guys, mate of mine walks into BMW dealer today.....sees a 520d, this years car demo.....3.6K miles on clock...told it costs £38.5K new....they said to him make us an offer....a few thoughts as to what he should offer.........wants to know by tomorrow??!!

Most new shape start at 30k used....Most are higher than that and all are 2010...They came out around April I think......If its a Demo it will be new shape.

I guess the question is, do you pay a 7/8/9/10 grand premium for the new shape?

No...I wouldn't...When you see one on the road they look like a 3 series...They just do not look different enough...The 5 has always looked different to the 3 but the new one just is not special enough...

Ok, if my heart was set on one, and I had to buy it...I would bid exactly 29,500
38500 less the VAT (at cheeky rate of 20%, (7,700) less a bit more for being a demo with nearly 4k miles.

Front ends...New one is far more up right..Front lights different...Rear is totally different..New will be listed on PH as F10 and old E60...Have a look at Enzo link and then the two on my thread..
