PS Stay away from those EE car washes....you never know where their sponges have been!!!
I took mine once - the day I got married - as I had been too busy to wash it and it was going to be in some pics, possibly. £5. Was amused (and pleased!) to see they used new 'spnonges' (wasnt a sponge but not sure what they're called) and new mircorfibre cloths for drying.

That experience changed my mind on EE washes, so much so I've taken the Merc there since (twice in 3 years, so not exactly a regular).

Looking at the two products again, I think the only difference is the scent of cherry or lemon.

I must have got some stuck under the trim when I did mine on Sunday, as on Monday Morning there were purple lines running down the boot and rear bumper! Looked a bit gothic but washed off okay tho.

Just done my interior with Liquid Leather and I am pleased with the results really as the interior was a little on the dry and shiny side.

I gave it a little dust down too :D

Help!
Forgive my ignorance, but I spent a few hours last weekend with various T-cut & Auto Glym products, on the wheel arches and seats and have made no discernable difference at all to the detailing, grime and in built dirt on the paint work and the leather still looks as parched as before.

I've been following this thread to work out what's next on the shopping list:
1) Car Pro Iron X LS to start
2) Some kind of Clay wax? which one.....nothing too expensive.
3) Liquid Leather?

Anything else?

I normally do this routine but it depends how much cleaning it needs.

Citrus pre-wash, Snow foam, Rinse, hand wash, De-Tar, Iron-X, Clay treatment, re-rinse and pat dry

Same here!

So I'm now out of polish. Recommendations, please?
