Spyder diecast 1:18 model

I did a bit of searching for these, was mainly finding silver ones in the US with hefty delivery charges - recently found this one in the UK, arrived this week, reasonable price and it's a pretty good, well detailed model - not exactly good pics on their website but take my word for it:

This set me thinking... found this little beauty at The Supercar Event at Dunsfold earlier in the year. It's identical in every way to mine except it's left hand drive... The guy on the stall had a scratched silver one that I was tempted with, so I asked if he had any others and he said 'yeah, but it's blue' so I played it cool and over paid for it... ;o) what a result I thought... feel a bit like a child, but love it... who else has a model of their car? is it just us Alex?

I also have a 1:18 3200 in Grigio Alfieri. I bought the same model as you, stripped the paint off and repainted it to match the colour of my old car. I have a 1-off 1:18 3200 Assetto Corsa copy in red with correct wheels, black interior and red piping as well. I started collecting models of cars I've owned over the years. They're in different scales and some are different colours to the cars I owned, but it's a bit of fun trying to track down the rarer stuff.

I have models of 116 Giuliettas (two in fact) One Red and one a yellow, plastic bump and go job would you believe.

I want a silver 4200 but not found one I like, yet.

Would like a silver Spyder with black interior but they all seem to have red as that was the combo Maserati used in all their pics. Could only find red with black, so would need s re-spray!

Easy solution - re-trim your car in red

diecastmodelswholesale.com. They have black and yellow Spyders in 1/18. I bought a beautiful blue Spyder by Bburago for $29 from them.

I would love a Silver 3200 with blue interior just like the one Ian has got above. Oh and Ian that is identical in every way to yours apart from it's a left hooker (as you say) and is a manual, aside from that it's the same

Mark, that feels like a pretty rare model in that colour....I collected 1.43 Maserati models and never have come across a yellow GS.....Seen white ones but not yellow.
