Must be an automatic. Ideally V8 evo. Not red, black, white, blue.

I’ve never seen a white one, so you should be safe there. And red was rare for the V8 EVO. Most were grey, silver or blue, with just a few in green or black.
As far as I can tell, only about 3 non-EVO V8 cars (known as the Ottocilindri model) were sold in the the U.K. so you are unlikely to come across one of those. Which means at least you are looking for a car of which you’ve got a decent chance of finding, all be it they are still rare.
If you come across a dark blue V8 EVO auto or a dark green V8 EVO manual, check the names in the history as it may be one of my old ones.
Good luck with hunt.

I just checked the records and the factory built a total of 32 RHD Ottocilindri cars, for sale across all RHD markets (U.K., HK, SA, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia etc.). So maybe a dozen or so made it here before the EVO version came out.
The EVO was more populous, as sold well alongside the new 3200. Not sure how many came here, but 782 EVO cars (LHD + RHD combined) were built in total. I’d imagine at least 50 V8 EVO’s came to the U.K. (hardly anyone opted for the V6 - why would you?).

Thank you Ewan. Very useful. If it comes to it, I don't mind a V6.

The Ottocilindri and Seicilindri (1996-1997) has a better interior than the Evo. Eco has plastic wood which seem to fade. And no gold clock. Evo has a single cerpentine drive belt which is much better though.
