A good story on the Beeb today:

Ferrari F512M stolen in 1995 is recovered by Met Police

The Ferrari F512M, worth about £350,000, was tracked down after it was shipped to Japan in 1995.

The Police spokesman was 'Mike Pilbeam'; I'm sure a few old 'uns on here will remember that name.

It’s funny how the Met are taking credit …….. I read it is that it disappeared on 1995, car sold in Japan to a US buyer and was flagged to the police by Ferrari (perhaps a history check or inspection) the the Met went and collected it. Or am I being cynical.
