They make their own tubular chassis and use engine and some running gear from various Alfas but much of the components are custom made from the spec of the original Stratos

Just the same as any other kit car. Goes through SVA.

No. A Q plate is for “indeterminate age”. If you can show it’s built from new components you get a new reg.

Good video, so apparently there is a long waiting time to order one and readily available examples seem to trade on a premium. That probably explain the 6- digit ask on ebay.
