Yes she didn't remember very much. Lawyer did sum it up by saying that she didn't have direct responsibility for anything so what did she do? Proper tail covering

The issue I have with a petition now is that the enquiry is going to take I believe another 12 months. Therefore the wording of any petition would need to reflect the fact that no conclusion have been published yet. Shorthand Therefore is 'what would be the wording of a petition now? '

My husband’s cousin was a postmaster, quite a few years older and now dead. His life sort of fell apart several years ago and everyone assumed he’d gone off the rails a bit, failing health etc. It now turns out he was caught up in the Horizon scandal. He was too upset and ashamed to tell his family and children how the successful business set up by his own parents had folded. His son has now gone through his father’s paperwork and found out what happened. It suddenly all made sense. I’d never met the man, but I was told years ago that he’d ended up being a bit useless, closed his shop and then died. Absolutely terrible.

That exactly what the government and post office is hoping will happen, the longer it drags on the less the compensation bill will be, many have died, many are broken and many are elderly

Give how long this has been going on it's disgraceful it took a TV drama to put it in the public eye but at least now it has there's light at the end of the tunnel

Fujitsu are liable, the compensation bill, even if it were £1m to each cleared postmaster would be pocket change to them.
