Will you want the watch or are you feeling sorry for me :D

It actually cost me £36 with the 20% buyers premuim, I should have started an auction business, they charge £3 lotting fee, 18% sellers commission and 20% buyers premium

the seller would have got about £18-£20 for it but having looked at that price list it's probably worth sending it off for an estimate , the hands turn with the crown but I bet it's got a corroded battery in it

Well yes, the watch would be expected :) Send it off and see what happens. I would :)

Has he got a magic tag wand

I walked into a local auction just as a tag F1 came up for sale , bidding was at £25 and I thought, a tag for £30 so I bid and to my surprise nobody outbid me

When I went to collect it they'd obviously seen it :D

My Seiko was in a bit of a state.
Bought for my 18th birthday, worn for approximately 10 years then failed due to water damage, and thrown in a draw for another 20...
I then discovered by accident it was the last watch worn by Roger Moore as James Bond.
Discovered Brian, he took the back off, and although water damaged and leaking battery, he declared he could restore it.
Being highly sentimental to me, I left it with him.
Took him around 6 months in total, due to sourcing some obsolete parts (it was 30 years old, and the worlds first quartz chronograph), but worth it, if not cheap in the end!
