Good luck Andy & Andy, morning all, reports first, change the brake pads on the Aygo as they are knackered and then off to Stratford for a Christmas bask later with one of my clients. Oh and maybe collect the Volvo from more works.

Have fun all...

A very good morning to all....Trip to abridge water today to have a coffee with one of my old bosses and a catch up. He had a potential role but it's away from home for 4 days a week and not really the direction I want to go. Always worth a chat about though.

It's always easier to get work, when you're in work, but I guess having young boys you want to be home. Good luck.
Morning Forum,
Was supposed to do st 2 Xmas functions today/ night but having to bail. I'm on my chin strap and need s rest and good lie in.
Have a good day.

Morning, its silly season at work at the mo and time to post on here is thus getting squeezed.

Off tomorrow to get 'the tree' and I suppose I better sling the pikey lights up outside too.

Stayed up last night and watched another 2 Wheeler Dealers...I was nodding at the end.

Saw the Saab 96 which was excellent, Ed, sorry, Ant, showed how he fabricated a scuttle repair panel for $10, a lot of time but it shows what can be done.

Then watched the Mustang Mach 1 and between nodding off, seemed excellent too.

All in all, a really good show and I am liking Ant....sorry Ed.

Need sleep!

Morning all. In the office today after a trip to Southport and back yesterday (575 mile round trip).

Loads to do as yesterday was the day that everyone wanted something done. Which is typical when you're out the office and cannot do it!

Have a good one all.

Good Morning Andy, likewise but I have 6 hours of work beforehand. Off to see the exile Maverick tonight. I'll see his Beetle with a comical rear spoiler...

Morning all, surprisingly clear head given the volume and variety consumed last night. Should be picking up the volvo later.

Have fun all...

Morning, all. That’s two nights in my own bed in just less than three weeks. And bloody lovely it was, too.

Looks sodding cold outside this morning, but Sweden this week was sodding colder, so this suits me pretty well. Anyway, after a bayshit crazy few weeks, a lazy weekend awaits.

Chilling thought Dave...

Before I get my coat; I've got the Volvo back with the new exhaust fitted but not the transmission fluid change done so it has to go back again later in the week (I have work to do first). Got home and wrangled 600m of steel reinforced rope into manageable bundles for the week ahead. Re-loaded the Volvo and then nippeed out before diner and put the new pads in the Aygo as it is going back to Christine later this evening!

Now I'll get my coat!

I've sort of fixed it, there is a plastic (ffs) bush in the articulation bit of the hinge, mashed.....cobbled a fix but its going to need new,

Don't need the chair tho........and yes it was cold....

Newton hope the Volvo all sorted now mate seems to think its Italian at times.
If the Volvo has a ZF transmission make sure they know what they are doing and have the right fluid mate.

Hi Phil, Don't think it is ZF as it is 2003 which I think pre-dates it, basically it is slipping in all the gears I think because of lack of fluid, OEM fluid and filter on order from Volvo which is why he hasn't done it yet. Problem is I need the vehicle to haul the rope swager machine around as nothing else will cope with it!

The 4-speed auto box on the XC-90 is a known weakness and pains me to admit I probably should have known better but I got it at a bargain price, I need it to do another year for me...
