Morning all, work and more work tomo.
Snow forecast.
Any news on job front Andy?
Have a good day.
Dave

Yep, happy chap pay at last...One offer on the table and going for a 2nd interview for another role today and then will make my decision on which to take. Was all getting a bit twitchy bum moment here but the last two weeks has been manic.

Bloody good news, Andy! Very happy for you.

WFH today, and half day :) Was going to go to Boston, but my Dad has an infectious chest and given Mrs Catperson's current condition, we decided this was not a good idea. So maybe a movie.

Have a great day

Morning, Forum.

Andy - results! Very well done, I'm reallly happy for you.

Working from home today. A concerted effort to get some admin and general catching up done, a bit of planning stuff and nothing too arduous. Is the plan...

Getting bloody impatient about car replacement now. Mind you, with snow forecast it's a moot point! I take some comfort from Dave being in the same boat.

Hello everyone!
Too many days on a bus this week due to the new bike tyres being unable to stay on the rims or, if they do, they puncture. So much for "flat free" and all that. I've decided they're unsafe and am waiting for more new tyres.
Oh, on Wednesday I had a crazy incident of road rage in my direction because i didn't overtake a lorry quickly enough on a dual carriageway... chap floors it up to my rear bumper and hangs there. I pull in in time for an upcoming roundabout and he just sits alongside me revving, then starts to accelerate and I could just sense he wanted to pull in a brake test me. Actually, safest option here was for me to outbrake him into the roundabout as he then wouldn't be able to get in front. Thank God I did that because it meant I could floor it off the first exit as he and his passenger jumped out of their car and started running at me.
Friday time. Have fun everyone!

Cracking news Andy!

Stevie; I wonder if it was something in the water ? I had three trips down the A127 yesterday and twice I has people having a go at me because they had been daft enough to cue in the inside lane approaching roadworks when there is signs advising to use both lanes and merge in turn... I simply took the advise and although not pressing on to the bitter end zipped well up the outside. There are some real pillocks out there!

Morning all, not been around as much, this thing called work doing my nut at the moment.

Off to Brecon today, Andy, I may be passing your door around 5pm, you might get a knock!

Morning all. Lovely day out there. Decided to take the Maser to work. I love that car. It's filthy though, and haven't time to clean it. Wonder if there are any decent valeters nearby who'll wash it for me?

More of the same in the office.

Have a cracking road rage story, but it's a bit long. Maybe a thread can be set up for them?

Work......mmmm, let me see.......that sounds familiar from somewhere. I think I'll have another cup of tea and see if I can remember where from. :saifi4:

Congratulation Andy.. as they say the next thing is a Maser ;)

Stevie. That's bonkers. I had someone sit in my boot on the motorway this morning because I pulled out in front of them to overtake a lorry. I couldn't see their lights never mind number plate because they were so close. It must be something in the air being blown over from Russia.

MiTo dropped off now, steering rack for Spider is here and booked in to be fitted next Friday. Looking forward to not having to check the steering and gearbox oil levels.
