Morning,

I'm worn out just reading all the stuff Newton is doing. Quick wash of the car then a breakfast meeting this morning.

The rest of the day will probably be spent with my foot up.

Have a great day all

Morning.
Tinkering day at home today, was the lads last u9 cricket tournament yesterday morning for this season, been a great season not one cancelled due to weather. As most of the local cricket clubs where established in the 1800's they knew where to build them, all in stunning locations around our local area, been a joy most Saturday mornings. Corkies now being u12 next season. Afternoon spent blasting a few clays again in a stunning location looking over the beautiful countryside, with my friend and his step son who has taken up the sport.

Up late today (Morning all) after a heavy night . I am ok now and will be off for a short bike ride before it gets too hot.
Had a great day yesterday at a Caravan site between Leyburn and Bedale (Caravans not for me btw) anyway they start at about £30000 for a well spec static + ground rent. Also imitation Log cabins looked good starting at £130000
Quite a large site and well patronised. There was also a Lancashire(?!) car event in the golf club carpark Some lovely stuff there including a drop top Jaguar 140 which was excellent.
I wish I had some money
Good day all in all

36 very warm miles, on one of the hills I was going up, in a bend where there was no wind, the temp went ballistic, I then realised I could see tire tread marks in the asphalt/ Tarmac, It's been melting!!!!

I’m pleased you like it. I just replaced a Sony of some kind with a Lumix TZ220, which is proving far more usable, intuitive and with better quality pictures.

Less impressed with the AF on the EF-S lens (or to be more clear, the almost total lack of AF) so possibly another lens or a steeper learning curve ;)

I know it's afternoon, but just got back from Liverpool. Ye gods the M6 is ******. Then the M1 / M@% crawled to a halt.

Oh well. We were up at the crack of doom to see 'Another Place' up in Crosby beach, which was pretty bloody awesome!

Hope all had a good one. Special shout to Navcorr courier services for his highly personalised delivery system :)

Very warm night meant little sleep.
Up early, bike ride done and may wash the car prior to meeting up with an old work mate for lunch - really looking forward to the catch up. Other than that quiet day.
take care all

Morning all, lovely view there boss, I too am a fan of Verona, not much not to love about the place. Nose to the grindstone with admin today as the only vehicle available to me is the GS and I'd need to walk around to the outlaws to collect it! So we completed the recommissioning of the engine on the VW yesterday afternoon and even with the fully rebuilt fuel lines and carb it started second crank which was very satisfying. We stopped there as it was just so hot and we were both beyond shattered. Still have the gear linkages to do and the brakes to find and get working but other than one non working headlight it appears to be MOT ready. Ironically it will potentially be the last MOT it needs as it is 40 next spring. Alex is going to chance black and silver number plates as we have discovered these are also on the 40 year 'historic vehicle' rolling program. IT would be a very fussy cop/MOT guy that picked it up on that.

Have fun all...

Top job on the little camper, Newton. Sounds like Alx scored himself a blinder with that. I keep thinking how much I'd like one, but I'd need to reset my expectations of what a good cruising speed is.

Matt, that looks great. Never been to Verona but I'd like to drive there one day. Through France to Como, then on via Verona to Venice. Although I've heard Venice is now hopelessly over-crowded, heavily owned by Chinese and jammed full of ugly and over-sized cruise ships. Maybe skip Venice and back to Como.

Working at home today, which is probably the only thing of note which I can think to say regarding my professional endeavours at the moment. Nevertheless, I have stacks to do, so I should probably do it.
