Morning all, off to the shoot with the hounds and Alex shortly, he is going on a peg today to shoot a gun and see how he gets on with one good arm!

Have fun all...

Morning all back in to children's taxis this weekend, 2 girls to music school and then Jamie is off for his first driving lesson (well sort of)

Also is it not time Santa fecked off back to his winter wonderland, his cheerful face whilst we are all back at work is most off putting

Morning, Forum. Annoyingly early start for a weekend. On the way to Heathrow and then to Mexico for a week. A few days in Mexico City, then Guadalajara and home via Phoenix. I’ve never been to Mexico before, so although I’m looking forward to it I’d still rather be at home in bed, asleep.

Also, I need to prioritise acting on my fortune cookie from New Year:

Progress is hindered by me still owning a GTS.

Morning, forum. Crappy night's sleep. Mrs Catman is improving but oh so slowly.

Trying to function today. Have an into class later this afternoon. I suspect that will be about it.

Have a great day, all

Good luck and best wishes to Mrs C, C. Why don’t you buy her my car as a ‘get well soon’ present? I guarantee it’ll have her up and perky in no time.

Morning everyone. Well it looks like day 4 if being bedridden. Now the tonsillitis is combined with a niggly cold (so aggravates the throat with coughing phlegm) and I had two days of horrific abdominal pain which the doc thinks is probably side effects of my body getting used to being on an antidepressant. If it comes back again though, I'm going to get checked out as that pain can't be right.
With the tonsils, I saw the duty doc who is new to me and she went down the route of it might be viral so no antibiotics for you. Thing is, I've never had it viral but have had bacterial most years of my life. How long of getting slightly worse do I have to go before the storm in my throat looks bad enough?

For the rest of you, HapPea Saturday!

Last time I had viral tonsilitis was about 1991. It was deeply deeply unpleasant! My sympathies

Well the shoot went quite well but Pippin had his best day by far and I can honestly say he is now fully trained and experienced, Loc is still hanging off his ear most of the time but is also learnt very quickly just needs to build his confidence. Alex got on a gun today for the first time and got a few shots off at flying stuff! Pigeon mostly. However on the way home we went to look at a motor for him and ended up buying it! An 07 Fiat punto extravagance or some such with a 1.4 8v and 100k on the clock. So he has his first Italian.
