Maverick, dead jealous its something I yearn to do. For those of you who came to Le Mans this year, Mike (beardy MG driver) has just completed his move to France. 5 beds period farmhouse, 8 acres all up together and ready to move in, multiple out buildings and sheds, 1 mile from a small town north of Le Mans, under £100k including the notaire taxes, its criminal.

Council tax is something silly like £700 for the year too

French have living sussed....but many other difficulties unless fluent and very patient! Fair enough as weekend retreats/holiday homes, but I suspect for lots off this forum...the pace of life and what not get up to might finish you off!!!!

The 'Don' of the French flag will be along in a minute Frank no doubt to repost that cry... You know how he loves them really! I'm in Buxton, I hear the exhausts warming even without the seats!

Have you used Fiorano before? They seem very well priced.
