Tyre advice

I’m going to go for 245 on the fronts and 285 on the rear. I was debating getting Vredestein as I’ve had these before and know they’re a good medium brand which last long and perform well in the wet. However, I think I’ll bite the bullet and go for Michelin’s.
Question is, is that what most people would do? Also should I go for Pilot super sport, pilot sport 4s or cup 2s?

Has anyone gone for 255 (front) and 295 (rear)?

Moved my summers from P Zero to Continental Sport Contacts a while back and like them. Might try the Michelin’s next but not checked what you can get matching front and back.

Why would you go up to wider tyres, just wanting the Stradale effect?

I changed from P Zero Corsa's to Michelin Pilot Super Sport, my god did they make a difference!
I had std P zero's on my old 4.7 MC and hated them, they wear too quick and I dont think they have a good grip level unless at track temperatures, when I bought the Strad it had Corsa's fitted and I couldn't wait to get them changed, the car actually felt very unstable at high speed.
Well got the Michelin PSS fitted and it's changed the car totally. Planted and very stable at high speed.
I cant comment on tread wear as I haven't done the mileage but they seem to be better than Pirelli.
I went std 245/285

I have done exactly the same. P Zeros to Michelin PSS. Amazing the difference. Make sure you get your tracking done as well.
