Warning beeps when turning on ignition

Hi all. My first post.
I have recently purchased a 3200GT (Year 2000). So very early days but makes me smile every time I drive it! Recently on start up as I wait for the various warning lights to go out I get about 15 beeps. It does not effect start up and no warning lights come on and the car seems to drive normally. I have tried to find mention of this in the handbook but can't seem to find anything. What is the imminent dooms day scenario that is about to unfold on me?!! Really appreciate any ideas - and I do hope it is not obvious so that I don't appear a fool!

I get 14,think it's normal. I then get 3 sets of 4 when turn ignition off. No one I know off has ever managed to find a list of the meanings.

ooh my car does not do this, it is a late 2001 model so maybe they fixed it! The only annoying beep i get is when its below 2C outside the small snow symbol flashes and it beeps

exactly... reminder to put your seatbelt on, ironically it takes about that long to do it, so I assumed it was that before realising ages later that it stopped on its own!

Hahaha! Learning all the time. Correct , belt up before turning on ignition = no beeps I normally faff about with the belt while it goes through checks though, felt odd buckling up first.

I hear the throttle body beep continuously like a buzz but no beeps on mine at all. I have disconnected the seat belt warning buzzer, does my head in!
