Just that one time for me unfortunately. I've got that double live album they released about 1983 with The Sun Goes Down on, it's not as good as Live And Dangerous but I think is still a great album. Going by clips and hearing what people say I don't think they ever did a bad show. Iwas always intending to get round to seeing them again and the next thing you know PL had passed away.

I saw them 3 or 4 times including twice in two nights on their last tour. Phil Lynott was smashed most of the time and kept forgetting the words but still great gigs.

Re-listening to a lot of 70s Rush at the moment - Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, A Farewell to Kings, 2112, Hemispheres. Saw them on the Moving Pictures and 2112 tours - great musicians and awesome live.

2112 tour was great, stripped down and raw, and no synthesisor in sight.

Taurus pedals, shirley! Great band, saw the Moving Pictures tour, and Subdivisions one, maybe it called Grace Under Pressure.

Listening to Bell X1 at the moment, Eve, The Apple Of My Eye....

One of my favourite bands. Sadly, they never toured Aus and most people here would have never heard of them.

When I was living in Dubs I went to visit Phil Lynott’s grave at Fintan Cemetery near Howth, let’s test a pic..

Too large....

Put Jailbreak on last night. Such a great LP...and it was the first rock LP I ever bought and still my fav Thin Lizzy. The guitar sound and those twin harmony guitars are so addictive.

He did seem to get bloated towards the end seeing the clips and interviews and was rather sharp to a fan who shouted at for 'Whiskey In The Jar' in the clip I was watching when he was talking before 'The Sun Goes Down'

Any Allman's fans?
Just been driving along listening to Blue Sky, Duane Allman and Dickie Betts sounding amazing. Both Greg and Duane much missed.

don't mind that at all!
They toured here at start of 2017 and I thought about going but didn't in the end. I'll certainly keep an eye out for the next time they tour

And here's to us.....the not so heavy side of Halestorm.....The way she uses the F word at the end always makes me think she means it.
