Where is the air flow sensor in a QP4.7s

Where exactly is the mass air flow sensor in a QP 4.7s, how easy is it to replace and how to I source a cheap replacement?
Thats 3 questions condensed into 1 - i'm aiming for brevity.
And number 4 what would be symptoms of one that is 'dirty'

It's part of the inlet air box. They're only about £150 complete so probably not worth trying too hard to find a real bargain.
