Windscreen camera mount

Have any of you used a camera mount with a sucky windscreen thing? Ready for Bruntingthorpe I fee a strange desire to record my ineptitude. My camera is one of those small-ish Sony NEX ones so doesn't need anything too hardcore. So long as it can cope with massive Gs...

Any recommendation gladly received - thanks.

It depends on the organiser, but every track day I've been on do not allow suction camera mounts, the camera must be rigidly bolted to the car. Ok if a Caterham with a roll bar, a normal road car no real solution.

Terrible game, was so one sided with Essex batsmen throwing their wickets with gay abandon. They are (very luckily) through to the next round 8th August at Trent Bridge.

My thought is to stick it to the inside of the windscreen. I'd hate the idea of it clattering off, bashing the bodywork and smashing the camera not to mention causing a menace to anyone behind.
