I bought my QPV really as a natural progression from the Alfa 166 I had a while back, exec. 4 seater, anything else a bonus. I drive pretty steady, enjoy the comfort, and overtaking swiftly when needed, all perfect, just what I want.

Never ragged it or floored it in 9/10 months of ownership, today for some reason I decided to give it some welly...

Well I did, not even to the metal and freaking **** its well fast, I ever knew!

Honestly I was gobsmacked, how such a big car can move so fast and be so lithe, and still leave your stomach in the backseat.

I should add I’ve been brought up on Austin Maxi’s and Princess’s, were any event could lead to piston rod pointing out of crankcase, etc.

I can drive fast, we all can, ive done over 200 km/h on autobahn, but this is different. No wonder I get 10k plus out of P-Zeroes...

I'm left wondering why you waited so long to press the fast peddle!

Will always be Maserati's best car as far as I'm concerned. You get two cars in one.

I have the Granturismo GTS and generally drive reasonably sensibly, but every now and again I go for a blast and up into the 7500 rpm range and it’s just awesome - these cars love to be driven.

It is such an amazing car... how 2 ton of steel can hurl it's way down the road like that is surprising!

The thing is an event in every respect! Drive it relaxed, its easy, quiet and one of the nicest places to be...

Visit the noisy side of the rev counter and the car turns into something really special! Its planted, very little roll, the noise! And the way the scenery becomes a blur - it's addictive!

I spent the best part of 40 mins playing with a 2016 M3 - he loved the big red bus! The smell from his cats and he couldn't shake me! Had the windows down to enjoy the sound of my fly bys!

We own some of the coolest, understated cars ever made!

They are Schizoid cars. Can waft along at 56mph in the slow lane in complete comford but hit the SPORT button and they are transformed into a cracking mentalist psycho who just wants to punish everything in its path. Just drive it like you stolen it everywhere.

10k out of rears? That should be down to 4k in no time!

If I don't hit the rev limiter every time I take it out, I may as well have chosen the pushbike.

He's been on the 'Vino' the past 2 weeks...

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

I agree completely!

its a lovely drive for a 4 door car, and much nicer than the usual limos. Its brisk (I wouldn't call it fast these days as 400HP is not that much in car of this weight, no matter the gearing). I still love mine as a daily driver; hard to beat the overall package/feel. I have faster accelerating cars, but perhaps as I near the half century of life, I feel less need to drive the faster cars...
