Just don't get the watches thing...especially at this kind of price - I mean what sort of craftsmanship does it take to get up to £150k? That's a lot of hours work you are paying for, even with skilled highly paid makers. And if that's not where the money goes, then what are you paying for?

I gave up wearing watches as soon as I got a mobile phone in the mid 90's as even then they had the time on them!

The only good thing about that is the Trident on the face, the rest is eminently forgettable. I'd rather have a GranSport, an MC Stradale and a sh!tload of fuel.

It screams "My pocket is 150k lighter, but I'm so rich I don't care and I'm wearing this just to tell you that...and I'm a ****." (Male chicken)

Oh yes. I've always wanted a Jaeger Le Coultre in my collection. Preferably a reverso, but any will match the dials on the car :)

Although I dont play polo, a JLC reverso (duo) amongst several others would be on my list before that AP.

Who in their right mind would spend that sort of money on ebay!?!

Get any old junk from China, stick a <insert your favourite badge> on it and a whopping price tag. Some mug will think its the dogs proverbials and buy it.. A fool and their money and all that!

Decent replica watches are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing and a fraction of the price. If you admire a watch for its style then why buy anything else. Personally, like Newton, I have barely worn a watch in years. And even less so since my Omega Seamaster ($45 in a Bangkok shopping mall  ) packed up.

You see. That's how you can distinguish a replica :)

Peace of mind then that the seller has a 98.3% rating! I sure as **** wouldn't want to be part of the 1.7% non-positive at £150k!
