Probably worth taking out a monthly direct debit with your local tyre centre!

Do you remember, they hypnotised the hamster then got him to drive it, very funny.

Yes, its the Alfa Q2 dif, you can have it retro fitted to all Alfas of that period and only cost a few hundred for the bits, its supposed to be marvellous.

No substitute for rear wheel drive and until Alfa Romeo go back to basics unfortunately I cannot see them being taken seriously in the world of fast cars.

I think Alfa are not allowed to do RWD, they have been pigeon holed at position 3 in the FIAT pecking order.

You're quite right and I've told them it's a bad job, as well! Seems like I'll have to get an 8C - er.. sorry.. the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

8C, you mean a Maserati?....RWD GS platform built on the Maserati prodcution line by Maserti staff, with the Maserati GTS engine, hum.

You can of course apply this to Ferrari and the MC12, all very odd.

Matt you forgot to add that the 8C has to be serviced by Maseraati........an Alfa garage would not no where to begin

Talking of which, a well known Alfa dealer in Cheshire is now claiming to be a Maserati 'specialist'. Anyone tested that out yet?

Not really Matt.....I just want this to be a fun forum as well as an informative forum and for us never to become so up our backside that we lose sight of what we are all about. The day you lose your sense of humour you may as well just roll over and die :)
