Update guys.
So after a failed oil/water pump August of 2014 and then when back up and running nearly falls out of the shipping container during loading November 2014 she spends 3 months at sea travelling 12,000 miles to NZ.
Several months hanging around outside waiting to get through compliance which only happened last Monday she has just completed 850 miles or 1368 kilometers trouble free around the central plateau of North Island to Mount Taranaki managing 16.2 mpg over spirited driving over 4 days.
Planning the next trip as this is a Great place for a GT.

Back late last night after another faultless drive doing another 1400 kilometres and maintained the 16.2 mpg which I think is as good as she will do with a variety of driving and I do like to rev her.

Another 1600 kilometer road trip done down to Wellington to see how my Daimler XJC is coming along and she ran faultless although she is now approaching the 100,000 miles mark.IMG_20161022_155154.jpg

Let's see pics of the XJC - another one of my favourite looking cars!
Eb

They will be posted up Christmas time as she is just having a little bit of fettling as she will have nearly a 1000 kilometers to do to get up to Auckland.

A little update on Project 4200.
She has now done 10,000 miles in New Zealand and over 12,000 since I replaced the Oil/Water pump unit and she is still running faultless.
Just done 360 miles this weekend down to Wellington and back seeing a couple of modern Maserati in the Capitol City.
Had a nice drive this morning around the Bays and in Sorrento Bay I pass a Lancia Fulvia just Magic.IMG_20180408_111423.jpg

Just read the entire thread, great stuff, quite an inspiration. Good on you. Makes me want to dig the stradale out of the garage and actually go for a drive.
