That is correct. They are the beta secreting cells that secrete insulin and glucagon in the pancreas.
They are not 40 degrees south west off the Azores if anyone was thinking on that line.

I'm guessing something sporting as I'm sure he was one of the pacemakers for Roger Bannisters 4 minute mile.

But I'm not sure he was ever a Olympic medalist.
