Time Vine won the best joke of the year award with that.

C

Tim Vine holds the record for the most jokes in a minute as well if my memory serves me right. Best joke of the year he has won two or three times and runner up a few times.

ok, so I am out for the rest of the day now.

The answer was the fantastic artist Frida Kahlo who appeared on a US stamp on 21st June 2001

Over to you guys, fill your boots!

I will sneak in with a quickie
What common English word has 6 letters containing 3 vowels and a double ewe (spelling!)
and there's nothing to it

I might be wrong but think the clue you are looking for is in the quote from post 871; "the answer was, the fantastic artist Frida Kaloh!"

Frida Kahlo was Mexican, Eva Peron was Argentine. Frida only had eyebrow, and her lovers included Leon Trotsky before he got the icepick.

Dodgy wording in the question my dear chap; 3 vowels AND a double ewe? Not quite!
