OK so clue to keep things moving on:

Due to comparatively recent events (i.e. within the last 12 months) a significant change has been noted in the population of lizards in the Caribbean. It's not really evolution *yet* but it most probably will shape the lizards of future generations.

I'll settle for the event(s) or the difference in the lizards. There's quite an amusing video because, well #science :)

One I know, it pays to read the science news :) The ones that could hold on tight remained, the others with smaller feet got blown away, almost like a mini extinction moment.

Because scientists get to blast lizards with leaf blowers :)

Well the klaxon answer would 'saffron' but the colour is wrong I suspect.

Could it possibly be an orchid?

I am a bit of a gardener (you would not knowfrom my garden!) but I do not recognise this plant at all.
So I am guessing it is foreign and will go for Couscous although that may be a Wheat plant?
