Very good, I’m glad she’s back on her feet again.

The Wheel Specialists. They’re due to open in early April, ah buhlieve. They’ll be based just near Colchester stadium and will do a same-day service. You can get a quote online.

Same day is significant. Fantastic

The quality from the other branches seems to be consistently very good, based on feedback on here. I had mine done in Manchester when it was in at Autoshield once and was very pleased. I'm sure Colchester will live up to the same high standards.

I shall be planning for a day out in Colchester then. Might combine it with some new rears now the geometry is sorted.

I’m there are a few places where you can find rears in Colchester. Let me know when you plan on heading to the exotic east.

Belated morning greetings!

Finished on the Brera for today, the heads on and torqued down, that’s enough for now.

The plumbing mission can commence on Wednesday.

In the shower then off over to Sparts for a boozy afternoon with the MAF and Lydine show then back over to Chi for a 50th party.

It’s all go here!

Well a most rewarding job completed this afternoon as I finally took a brave pill and attacked the XC-90 headlights with 1,000, 1,200, 1,500, 2,000 wet and dry followed by a mop with 3,000 and 9,000 compound to polish them. The difference is astonishing (night and day really), replaces three blown 5w riding light and side light bulbs and discovered they actually flip up like the Masaerati ones! Honestly didn’t realise it had xenons....

One done to compare.

All done.

I shall indeed! Just looked at tyre prices. When did they shoot up! Still mustn't complain too much. I've had them for 2 years (yes, yes I drive like a girl, I know this) :D

What you going for Chris?

Given I only need to replace the rears for now (and then not for a couple of months given my mileage) I'll likely stick with the Michelin Super Sports. Unless the fronts have given up by the time I get round to it. In which case I'll probably stick with the Michel Super Sports ;)

Never had significant loss of traction, except in actual snow. Unlike the Falkens I had on the 4200 and the Triangle Ditchfinders the GT came with!

Cracking week so went to see Shappi Korsandi at local theatre last night and thoroughly enjoyed her. My god she can talk!!!!

Daddy day care today and then a wedding fair tomorrow so busy times :D

Don't forget clocks go forward so early to bed tonight unless you want to be tired tomorrow...

I rather like Shappi....Wouldn't mind seeing her live.

Still unsure of what to go for. I want the same all round but finding the same tyre in both front and rear seems to be tricky. Unless you go for P Zeros. Which I don't want.

Morning,

First Alfa Dales run of the year, postponed from last week. Quick blast up to the Tan Hill Inn, then around to take in Buttertubs etc. Should be fun and a good sighter for when I take the Ghibli on the same roads in a month or so.

Only slight problem is that I need to reset the hood on the Alfa Spider as its got a bit confused about where to stop. Still manual operation will work for now and should sort it out.

Have a great day all

Morning Andy.

Typical Alfa, I am sure they are trying to wriggle out of the warranty claim :)

Not the most of exciting of races, went back to bed for a bit of it, McLaren/Alonso doing well though.
