Morning,

Another day sitting in the office. At least the garden furniture finally got delivered yesterday so all set for the weekend. Not sure about the weather today, starting off a bit cloudy. Still, should brighten up later.

Have a great day everyone

Morning, mob
Bit grey here today. 4 hour call this morning, then 147 to Autoalfa for some work and MOT

Then continuing to fight security policy so I can migrate my data from old mac to new one!

Cheers

Thanks, Phil. No real reason it should fail, but if it does, Feli will fix it for us. :) The jobs that need doing are the handbrake cable and the connection (I suspect) to the boot release solenoid. Opening of the boot is somewhat of a wonder. I wonder if it will open this time :D

Morning all, the Mito shrunk to a Fiat 500 yesterday as it went in for a recall that involves removing the gearbox! Phil hang in there! Good luck with the tech Chris.

I’m off to that London today with two of the Kensington Squares to inspect then off to a meeting in St James’ this evening, so I’ll be making good use of Uber today.

Have fun all...

Morning all.
A bit grey and due to get worse before it gets better. So Household jobs I think.
My son's Fiat Spyder goes in for MOT today. Andrew is just learning the ropes. Hope he is not in for too big a shock! He has just paid £300 for road tax and was miffed at that until I told him how much mine was (which I think is due soon).
According to the on board computer I did 25mpg on my run to Lancs. I suspect it may be a bit lower but I am happy with that either way. The QP was fantastic, comfortable plenty of power and a pleasing place to sit.

Morning all. Another day of counting down to Le Mans.
Brake pads for the GT will be delivered today, so that should be the final prep. Other than potential fitting a front splitter to her.
Although if it looks **** it won't be going on. But as it was cheap. Nothing ventured....

Have a good one all.

Morning Andy thought you lot were having Summer time.
Just back from having X Rays and seeing the Doc.
Another slow day for me and not allowed to drive or do anything.
Take Care all.

Morning all Grey again, but off for Coffee soon.
My son Andrew had the first MOT yesterday on his Alfa Spyder.
All 4 discs and pads replaced and brakes maintained £600. This was at the Alfa specialist in Leeds.
He is just learning and guess who is 'helping' him out!

Morning from Portugal.

A bit of a trying day yesterday. Despite the flight being Ryanair it was actually ok. Issues started at the airport with the hirecar. Couldn’t believe we could get a VW Golf for £6 a day so went for an Nissan SUV for about £12 a day.....why not!

First off I specifically requested an in terminal collectction....lie! Had to wait around for a shuttle bus that took us 10 Miles the other side of Faro.

Ok, and breath.

Then, we got our brand new Nissan Quashqai...very nice, then we were confronted with the full insurance hard sell! (Feckers) where as I don’t have a credit card, only debit cards with loads of funds available, we had to take the 150 euro full insurance (MAF is this sounding familiar).

So all I will say is as we have the full insurance and a brand new car, I will be making full use of it! How much does a four wheel alloy refurb cost in Portugal?

The wife has a credit card and they even said no to that as it’s not in the contract name....feckers! Can we change the name on the hire...no sir.

Right, childish I know but I’ll be having the last laugh!

...and relax, it’s very nice here. Bit cloudy and the odd spot of rain but it will be 21 and sunny late morning.

Hello you lot!
I didn't get rained on whilst cycling to work - yay! I've now started just doing what I think is right for our business even if I'm told to do something else. In the long run, I'll be thanked for it as it'll have proved correct.
HapPea Thursday! xXx

Morni - afternoon, all.

On my way home now, in the Qantas lounge in Hong Kong airport. Flight in an hour or so. It's been a good week but the humidity is a bit nasty; even the locals are grumbling. It'll be good to get home. I have a family to see and a car to drive!
