Also there are places in Australia that replace/rebuild the ball joint. One in Dandenong I heard about recently and one who does work for my repairer in Sydney.
Someone over there must be doing it with all those specialists we see on Wheeler Dealers.

Yes its definitely repairing the ball joint so the wishbone doesn't need to be replaced.
I'll be visiting my repairer in 2 weeks and will ask prices.
