Cars movie had a couple of QP's and a Ferrari in Luigi's tyre shop around the end of the movie if I recall

A smart phone.. mines still plugged into the wall, the smart bit comes from the person who picks it up for a chat..

I was watching a few episodes of 'Department S' last week (filmed in '68, broadcast in '69), in of them Jason King (Peter Wyngarde) drove a bright yellow Ghibli Spider with a matching factory hard top, it was only on screen for a few seconds but it made my eyes pop out on stalks!

Grand cab in a film called Project almanac which is on sky at the moment. Also shows an interaction with a Maserati dealership.

No, he's down in his garage polishing his Ghibli SS!

I watched the Jackie Stewart DVD again the other night and noticed the same yellow Ghibli in the background in a few other scenes - it's well worth a punt and quite cheap on Amazon, the atmosphere down on the circuit during practice and on race day is wonderful... they were very different times.

Lots of Maserati in ep 5 of the latest series of Orange is the New Black since they visit a dealers! The researcher needs shooting though as they talk about going for a test drive in a GranCab and then go out in a Ghibli. Sounds good though.

Yeah I was wondering why they were driving a Ghibli shaped GranCabrio. Must have been orders from FCA's marketing

The family watched the brilliant disney cars last night...Two Maserati QP's flanking the Michael Schumacher Ferrari at the end.

Yep it is a known FACT that Maserati are portrayed as the villains choice of car in a majority of films.

So we're the anti-heroes.
In the US the villan always drives a Chrysler brand like a Dodge Challenger or Charger. It's the equivalent of a black stetson in westerns...

Come the revolution when I'm voted in as PM, all cops 'n' robbers films and TV shows will feature a recently divorced lone wolf detective inspector with a drinking problem driving a (different) Maserati in every scene...!

One of the bad guys (and there are a lot of them) in the new Italian mafia film 'Suburra' drives a black GT. A guy he's victimising drives a 911...
