Good stuff Hilts,

We have a Nissan Note as a loaner for Jeanette's stolen Mito and that has lane assist on it, it is a complete waste of time in my opinion, I've driven over 2,000,000 miles in my time and have never needed it, all it does is constantly ping, buzz, bong and bing bong at you for any number of reasons. If someone gets out of the car (or opens the door) it throws a hissy fit about needing the key verified again!

Susie's S3 has lane assist - when it's switched on and you change lane without first indicating, it fights you. Luckily it can simply be turned off.

I had it in a Jeep I was given by Enterprise for a month...tried it hands free on the M5 when it was quiet...after about a minute it popped up a message to ask me to replace my hands on the steering wheel.

The radar and brake assist was decent and I managed Bristol to the M25 without touching the peddles after joining the M4 at Bath.
