Not good for motorcycles though as fitting is now so specialised and although you can get the tyres at a cracking price nobody will fit them for you...

Fit my own motorcycle tyres Newton.
Have a changer to spin the wheel on and brake the bead and nice and easy with a couple of tyre levers.
Fitting the new even easier with a good sprinkling of Johnsons baby powder and it smells nice too.

Same here for bikes. Always fit and balance my own. As Phil said, having the right tools helps. Black circles nearest fitting centre to me is the local ATS, who are pretty good to be fair, although the last couple of times I've used the Kwik Fit mobile service. Our local mobile guy is very good, but obviously you're at the mercy of who you end up with wherever you go.
