This is what you really need. We all use this a - Leica laser measurer.

If you are in London or Surrey and you only need it for a short while you are welcome to borrow mine if you are only looking for a one off usage.

However if you are looking to use it regularly then they are highly recommended.

Thats what i use and sometimes a Bosch type

Thank you Hoyin, i got a bosch lately, i paid some hundreds for it and the difference is huge. but it always depends on what you need to measure.

It seems you need to measure yours in mm mate. I use one that only measures in inches :)
