With the service history and MOT records, it looks even better than the ad suggests - I would have no hesitation in taking a look and having a serious think about this one

This will/should be snapped up. It's the cheapest QP GTS ever and is in a good colour combination with decent service history. What's not to like!?

Bloody ****....glad I posted this now.....Sounds like lots of interest. Though it would get a few post saying miles too high. If Ewan said worth a look must be as he is master of all that is Sport GTS.

Haha new Phil would have something to say about the red.......It just looks like a great value QP and it being the best of the 4.2's it has to be worth a look.

MOT history and servicing would suggest anything flagged up has been done.
Noticed the comment about chassis rust and maybe get that checked?
For someone that wants to put another 20-30k on it, it could make a lot of sense. I like the interior.

Possible you and I account for some of that interest! I've also swapped emails with him today, and he has said the same to me about having plenty of interest.

I suspect that refers to the bolt on plates which are basically made of re-cycled 1980s Alfas and cost tuppence each to replace. Could be wrong though.

Nice car and decent price but not sure I could live with that interior. Sport GT S needs half leather half alcatara for me.

One QP is enough thanks. My insurance allows me up to 10 cars so I'm trying to make the most of it!

I don't really agree on this one. It's a nice car but at 102k miles it could very easily swallow £5k just to be tip top. I'd still say save up for the best possible rather than be tempted by what seems to be a bargain. At the end of the day, it will be a 130k mile QP or whatever when the buyer comes to sell and that's not an easy thing. You could lose the money saved on a better one at the back end. I wouldn't do it.

It all depends what's already been done on it, the service history looks good, no clutch to change , if the front brakes need doing there's £1500, tyres, £800 as chris says it looks like it had some money spent on it 15/16 and it's at a specialist now being serviced though even at that price I think I'd still want an inspection

Whoever buys it would need to be a keeper as yes as the miles goes up it will be harder to sell....The general public is scared of buying Maseratis with low miles let alone 100k up.

I don't see this one as any more or less likely to need servicing work than any other. It has fully history, which is a good start, but if course, should have the same pre-purchase inspection as any other.

Give or take it's about £9k cheaper than other QP GTS's for sale, but as done double the mileage. That seems okay to me.

A 100k mile normal QP DS from around 2005 can be £13k or so from a dealer, meaning this one is only an extra £4K for a later better car. And for someone who may only do 5k miles per year in it, the depreciation over the next year or two would likely be virtually zero.

Still on ebay so it's not been snapped up yet

I think I'll get the 4200 sorted this week and have a think
