On a sensible note what tyre pressures do you guys run on your ride on ?
Trying to get my lawns back up to scratch and reckon this might be a key part.

Problem may be handbrake turns at end of the strip. Limited slip diff makes a big difference. ;-)

Ahh. A 911

C

Bit more of a Smart Fourtwo than a 911!...

I couldn't resist going out just now and doing another little mow. How things have changed from waiting to be nagged to make inroads into a 5" lawn. Just because it is so easy to get it out, plug in the battery and get mowing. Next I must see if there is a Werther's Original holder accessory. Only thing, as with all mowers at this time of year is to avoid mowing a slow worm, though the neighbourhood cats and chickens (and probably the rats) have decimated them. Like hedgehogs - the horrible badgers have almost wiped them out.

Well, three months on and I'm sure everyone is keen to hear the long-term review of the mower.... well, it is still great; the recent rain and sun has allowed the lawn to grow and given me the excuse to be out, mowing. The other hot long-term review is of the "double-loop" method of tying shoelaces, again, great results. Despite taking "Bozza", my daughter/her partner's lovely Bull Terrier for long walks as well as all laces tied that way on various shoes for all types of use, the double-knot hasn't come undone once. What a result... 50 years wasted re-tying shoes with a single knot.

As an aside, it is weird seeing the response to a placid, friendly, very well-socialised Bull Terrier here (he is not an unusual breed where she lives in posh-adjacent-to-not-Saarrf-Lundun). Here labradoodles and their like are the only acceptable dogs. I was thinking of getting a (probably also locally unacceptable) dog and had a breed and name ready - male smooth fox terrier, "Steptoe"- but think it/he would be too much of a responsibility / not fair on him as we are still working and probably couldn't provide the time to keep him/it amused and happy.
