Hi all,

Well, my life couldn't have changed much more since I purchased this car last summer. I won't bore you, but the end result is I'm not here much to use the car.

Some of you may remember that I purchased this car without seeing it. However, after a trusted friend saw it, and I had a pre inspection completed by Supercars of Sheffield, it was confirmed that the car is in superb condition inside and out.

I had the cambelt changed at purchase. Everything else that needed doing had been completed earlier in 2016 including a new throttle body.

We completed 1500 miles in the first 6 weeks with little use since. However, everything works as it should even the air con! I fitted a new Bosch battery in March

I am the third owner. The previous owner was the wife of a guy who owns Mellors Elliot Motorsport. They had the car for 14 years.

To allow potential purchasers to inspect the car fully it is with a local garage on a sale or return basis. It also means that viewings are available every day

The link to the ad is below (you have to select Maserati from the drop down). If you have any questions please let me know.

Also, any feedback on price or the ad would be appreciated.

I'm open to sensible offers.

Lastly, if my time as a Maserati owner is temporarily coming to an end thank you to all those who have been generous with the their advice in my short time on here. It has been invaluable. Even the **** taking!

I should mention that the car comes with a warranty from the garage.

Sorry to hear that but good luck with the sale, it does look very nice and I like the finish on the wheels - a nice contemporary touch

Very nice looking 32. Given condition I would be asking a little more but these do seem to have a very small market to sell in.

Your car is in great condition, bodywork is lovely. I only covered 700 miles last year so understand, however I do enjoy the drives out. Best wishes with the sale.

Thanks everyone. I think you're right about the small market.

Small market of people who think they can buy cheap and run them as cheap, sort of champagne car for lemonade money.

Mine has been up for sale for a year now, is as good as it gets and won't sell at £13k. It's nuts really.

Thank you. It is beautiful. If I had more garage space it would be a keeper.

A year! Is yours in silver? I remember looking at it online when I was buying mine. Hope it sells soon.

And yet the "dealer" cars (the Justin Banks one, anything Dicky Grace has, etc) seem to shift pretty quickly by comparison. I note Dicky has shifted that 'nearly' AC that was up for over 20 grand.

I just think the abundance of scare stories about the 3200 - including on here - mean a lot of punters shy away from anything privately sold in favour of paying more for the 'comfort' of a trade purchase.

I have to say I can sympathize with that to some extent.

The scare factor was another reason why I put it with a garage. They sell it with warranty.

I was a little anxious when I first purchased but it has been fantastic! The battery is the only thing and that was my fault for leaving it so long without a trickle charger.

Yep it's been on here for sale, on Pistonheads, Carandclassic and also on Ebay as of yesterday.

Maybe a specialist dealer will be the way to go if it doesn't sell. Early days.
